Jessica was born in Blackthorn and was raised there until she was 9. Then, she got a Cydiquil, and she started her journey. Speeding ahead, her now Typhlosion is retired from battleing, preferring to stay at the Daycare Jessica has in the Resort area on the Shinnoh region, helping to take care of the daycare pokemon. But she still travels and trains often, concurring all of the region’s Elite 4. She gained many pokemon over the long 6 years, and has formed a strong bond with them all. She now lives in the Resort Area in Shinnoh, running the only Daycare on the Island. But she still travels, leaving her other pokemon to run the daycare, which they do very well.

Ritsuka-Lucario, male, Inner Focous
Held item-Shell Bell.
Moves-Aura Sphere, Iron Tail, Dark Pulse, Extremespeed
Jessica got Ritsuka from an egg, given to her by a stranger named Riley in the Shinnoh region. She traveled with him for a short period of time on Iron island, battling with him. Afterward, before she left the island, Riley gave her this egg. She waited eagerly for it to hatch, and couldn’t have been happier with the cute and adorable Riolu that emerged.
Ritsuka is pretty laid back and takes most things as a joke. He doesn’t like violence all that much, except in battle and to protect his loved ones. He loves Jessica in a protective way, and will do anything for her. If other pokemon in the group have a squabble, him and Emery will most likely be the ones to break it up. But he’ll be the one laughing about it afterward. He has no love interests, but does tend to accidently flirt with lots of girls.

Sonny-Aracanine, female, shiny, Intimidate

Moves-Flamethrower, Thunder Fang, Iron Tail, Extremespeed.
Sonny was the last of sixteen babies born from her mother when she was used on a breeding farm. Kia wanted a growlithe egg so badly, considering she loved Arcanines, but how surprised she was to find a shiny! But that wasn’t the thing that drew her to Sonny. Her bright, crystal blue eyes were so out of the ordinary, that she decided that’s what made her so special. Sonny immediately took a liking to Loki, who was a Luxio at the time, and it was love for her at first sight.
Sonny is a big puppy. She loves to play and battle, and almost never takes anything serious. The only thing she really ever takes seriously is her relationship with Loki. But she has a short fuse, so if you make her mad by saying something offending about her eyes or about Loki, she will char your sorry butt. She loves Jess like a dog loves it master. She often curls around her at night when they sleep, keeping her warm. She is in a relationship with Loki and loves him very much. She loves cuddling him, even though Loki doesn’t like being so open about their relationship. She thinks he’s just being shy and acts lovey-dovey anyway.

Moves-Discharge, Shock Wave, Iron Tail, Crunch.
Loki was found after Jessica and Emery heard a commotion right at the start of their Shinnoh Journey. They followed the noise and found a lone Shinx, battered and in poor shape, fighting over a berry with a flock of Starley. Jessica and Emery fought off the Starley, saving Loki. He was blinked from the fight in his left eye, and is missing a part of his right ear. His blind eye is now light pink instead of red, and light, almost white yellow. After they saved him and treated his wounds, he decided to stay with Jess, impressed by her actions.
Loki is very distant, and almost never speaks to people outside the group. He barely speaks much anyway. It takes quite a bit to make him angry, because he will mostly just ignore you, but when he does get mad, he’ll shock you out of your wits. The only people he will listen to fully is Jess, Sonny, and sometimes Emery. He is in a relationship with Sonny and loves her, but does not want to admit it. He thinks if his opponents knew about her, they would either…
a.) Use her as a weakness.
b.) Make fun of him and call him a pansy.
So, he only really shows affection to her when no one’s around. Good thing Sonny’s ok with this.

Umbre-Umbreon, female, shiny, Synchronize (NO I AM NOT MAKING HER SHINY BECAUSE SHINY UMBREON IS EPIC. I actually have one in my game, thank you, and she is a main pokemon on my team.)
Held Item-Quick Claw.
Moves-Dark Pulse, Psychic, Faint Attack, Quick Attack.
Jessica bread Umbre from a Japanese Vaporeon she got while overseas, and her older Eevee Simon. She didn’t expect Umbre to be shiny, but she loved her so much at first because of it. But the problem with training her was that she always slept in the day, and was hyper active at night. She officially decided that she would train her at night, and she would evolve into an Umbreon.
Umbre is still the same as she was in her childhood: Sleeps during the day, and active during night. But she’s also very active during battles as well. She has the most lazy, laid back attitude of all of the team members, and gets along well with Ritsuka and emery, often having conversations with them during the evening. She doesn’t bother to get into squabbles, and NEVER gets mad. Ever. She has no love interests, but does have a flirty, ‘friend with benefits’ relationship with Jess’s Houndoom, Spike.

Suna-Flygon, female, Levitate
Held item- Dragon Fang.
Moves-Dragon Claw, ,Earthquake, Fly, Flamethrower.
Jessica actually didn’t catch Suna, per se. While truddging through the desert, the little Trapinch came up to them, jumping up and down excitedly. Jess only smiled, and threw it a couple of berries. Suna did eat them, and then followed them out of the desert. Jessica thought that the little Traphinch would’nt go back to the desert, so she kept her. She then realized she loved battleing, and was terrific at it. She evolved and became what she is today.

Suna is very adventurous, and loves to travel. She is Jess’s main means of transporation by air and land, because Suna doesn’t mind giving her biggie back rides. She never likes staying in one place for too long, so she’ll often circle around the island on her own when they’re back at the Daycare. She is a strong fighter, and finds it fun and exciting. She’ll sometimes get mad as Jess and pout if she doesn’t use her in battle, but after Jess explains (along with some convicning with Emery, hohoho) she forgives her. She has a relationship Apollo, Jess’s Dragonite that she got back in Blackthorn. They have a bit of an age difference, and Apollo doesn’t like her being away all the time, but he understands and still loves her.

Emery-Empoleon, male, Torrent
Held item-Sea incense.
Moves-Surf, Rock Slide, Steel Wing, Drill Peck.
Emery was Jess’s Shinnoh starter. He was a surprisingly nice and kind Piplup, instead of the usual snobby and rude attitude ones. He followed behind her, flippers crossed behind his back all of the time. He only got out of his usual character is battles, where he is ruthless. Kia sometimes needed to hold him back from hurting the opponent pokemon beyond fainting. But as he grew, he became more controlled over his battle actions, and often leaves the battle once it’s over without a word.
He is the fatherly figure to the team. He will break up fights, give advice, listen to people, and sometimes even cook for the team. He loves drinking tea, and tries to urge everyone else on the team to drink it. Sadly, the only one who does occasionally is Umbre, but it usually makes her fall asleep. He protects Jessica along with Ritsuka, and will do anything for her. He is extremely polite and kind to all, except in battle and only with his opponent. He has a lover back home: a female Moltic named Cecila. He loves her very much, and takes her out on romantic dates when he comes back home. They currently have an egg, which is being incubated at the Daycare by Montey, a Macargo that works there as an incubator. They are very excited for their child.
